I am deeply saddened to inform you at the passing of Lt Col (Ch) Tim Spiller. He was a great American and an outstanding member of CAP. He was squadron 5’s chaplain for 29 years, a WWII Marine veteran of numerous Pacific campaigns including Iwo Jima, Saipan, Midway and others.
The stars shine a little dimmer tonight for the loss of a great person, friends to all and a kind soul. We celebrate his life with a tribute page we have at our squadron’s web site, please reference the following link http://sq5.cawg.cap.gov/TimTribute.html. Also, to activate both video clips, please click on the screens. I have attached a picture of Col. Spiller receiving one of his many CAP awards.
